Final Destination: Amamake

After we recently did restart to do some Lowsec roams, we decided to do a cruiser roam with only tech 1 hulls. Trying to field a small gang of reasonable balanced ship roles, we went for the matari factional-warfare Lowsec constellations as the arena.

We started from Hek and as usual Resbroko had some promising faces in local and seemed to offer a good portion of fair pew-pew.
So it happened that only a few minutes into this roam our whole gang warped mostly blindfolded towards our outgoing gate, where we had spotted a small gang of residents from Plutonium-239 [TEPCO].
Sadly we hit the grid moments after some pilots of another mixed gang of strangers joined the show. We did not manage to keep organized in this situation and morale dropped badly right at the beginning of this evening. The results of this initial encounter can be seen on our killboard here. Not the best start for a roam, but we managed to succeed better later.
This situation did mostly suffer from initial bad communication, missing intelligence about what we had to expect and maybe a little foolish portion of pride.

We quickly formed up again and picked up our scattered pilots in the surrounding systems behind Resbroko.

As a cruiser gang which was not actively plexing in that factional warfare area, we could mostly spot the common small frigate gangs and soon ended up with the final destination for this evening: Amamake

Not having showed up as a gang like this in Amamake is definitively an advantage. Locals did underestimate us and so it happened that we had a nice and hartily welcome party with the Heretic Nation. Scoring two Battlecruisers and one battleship against no kill on our side was of course pushing morale back up to the green level for the remaining bunnies.
